By hiring T.E.A.M. DJ, you've hired more than just a Disc Jockey. You've hired a team of specialists. People who have access, between them, to literally thousands upon thousands of songs. From the entrance of the Bridal Party to the First Dance, from the toss of the bouquet to the final slow dance that says "good night," we bring a variety of music for everyone's tastes and preferences.

Before the special day, you will have met with the DJ who will be performing at the event. The timing will be set, the music chosen, the tone of the reception decided.

Online Planning

Once you have booked your day, you will be given a password to our Client Area. This will allow you access to several electronic forms. Most notable are the Songlists, the Planning Guide, and the Timeline.

Have some songs you simply MUST hear? Easy, just slip them into the Top Choices category. Have some songs you'd like to hear if possible? They go into the Play If Possible category. And don't forget the one's you just DO NOT want to hear (yep, there's a category for that, too)! Just stick them into the Do Not Play list.

Open up the Planning Guide, and fill out whatever you can. How you want your DJ to be dressed, the names of the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen, all your traditional songs, and so on.

Open up the Timeline, and arrange your traditionals and special moments to your liking.

Save your documents, and they can be printed out by you or your DJ for the big night. And don't worry about a thing. If something doesn't quite fit, we'll work it out at our meeting.

We Come Equipped…

Your event can have as many (or as few) extras as you desire. Start off with our basic system, of course (all digital, so no more skipping tracks or scratched albums). Would you like to add some lighting? We can accommodate you, of course! Have a slideshow? A custom made DVD for your guests? Just ask for our Projector package (we can even provide a screen, if needed). Need some ceremony or cocktail music in a different part of the venue? We have that covered as well, with our Small Sound System we can provide music in two different locations with no downtime. Additionally, the Small Sound System includes a Lavalier (Lapel) Microphone, so we can hook up your officiant.

How many years of professional experience do you have?

2017 is TEAM DJ’s 19th year in business. All the DJ's who work for TEAM DJ are trained to make your reception fantastic! You will always get an experienced DJ who can handle any situation.

 

Will you assist us in pre-planning our reception?

Our phone lines are always open to you. If you have a question, we are always here to assist you. It can be a Disc Jockey question, or a question on any of our other services. We have a lot of knowledge to pass along to you.

 

Can we meet our DJ before the event?

You will meet with your DJ approximately one month before your event to cover all of the details of your wedding reception. If you would like to meet a DJ before you book, we can make that happen for you also.

 

Does the DJ make all the announcements?

Your DJ will make all the announcements from the Grand Entrance up to the Final Goodbye. Also, they will keep track of the time schedule, keep the photographer and videographer informed of all the events, take requests from the guests, and make sure the bride and Groom are the center of attention all night long!

 

Do you have a variety of music?

 

Can we bring our own music?

Absolutely!

 

Can you provide music for the ceremony, also?

Will the DJ be properly dressed for the occasion?

It is important that your DJ looks the part by dressing in a formal tux or semi-formal suit and tie attire (your choice). Be sure to specify the type of apparel that your DJ should wear. There is no extra charge for formal attire.

Do you use professional equipment?

Can we control the volume at the event?

Yes. If at any time you would like us to raise or lower the volume, it would be our pleasure to do so.

Will our DJ be there on time?

Our DJ's arrive at least an hour before an event's scheduled "start time," to allow plenty of time to set up. Setting up and taking down the equipment is included in the cost of the evening. Your DJ will also stay as long as you like, if the party is going to go past the scheduled "end time," for the same hourly rate.

Does the DJ take any breaks?

No.

What is the deposit? When is it due? When is the balance due?

Our standard deposit is $200.00. Once we receive the deposit and signed contract you are booked and we will send you a receipt. The balance is due just two weeks before the event.
